Since August 15th indoor gigs are once again allowed. Yippee!
Gigs can be lawful provided that a lot of safeguards are in place! The venue must be Covid-secure, the audience has to wear masks, and audience numbers are restricted to ensure social distancing is maintained. In fact, i have to wear a mask too, apart from when I'm actually performing. Working with the venues and promoters, we've done a huge amount of work on risk assessments to make sure every step of the working process is thought through and if necessary, changed to minimise the Covid risks. So it's all a little bit different but I am sure it's going to be absolutely brilliant just to get back out there gigging!
